About Me: I have been a Toastmasters member since June 2018 and have previously served in the role of Vice President of Membership in the Speaking of Banking Club with Fifth Third Bank. In the 2020-2021 TM Year, I was provided with the opportunity to serve as the Area 02 Director and I was also provided the opportunity to serve as Club Coach for The Law of Attraction Toastmasters Club. I have also volunteered as a Coordinator in the Youth Leadership Program to interns through the Fifth Third Bank partnership with Project SEARCH. In the 2021-2022 TM Year, I served as the Area 17 Director and also volunteered to serve as Co-Chair for the District 62 2022 Conference. The reason why I decided to join the West Michigan Advanced Club is because I wanted to continue to grow and develop, not only as a public speaker and a presenter, but also as a leader both personally and professionally. I am the recipient of the District 62 Hall of Fame Spirit of Success Award, the District 62 Hall of Fame Toastmaster of the Year Award, and I earned my Distinguished Toastmaster Award in January 2023. I am truly looking forward to my time here and I am truly looking forward to my future as a Toastmaster.

About Me: I joined Toastmasters in January of 2015 because I wanted to learn to be a leader. I started with one club, then added a second. The members of this club are the people that have been my biggest supporters and encouraged me to take the leap and run for Club Growth Director. I then propelled to District Director in 2020. They don’t just provide leadership support. They also provide excellent evaluations. The feedback I receive from them has been invaluable. If you are looking to advance your speaking skills, this is the place.

About Me: I joined Toastmasters in February, 2016 because I wanted to learn how to feel comfortable speaking in public and talking about my new art business called Since then I have given speeches to large and small groups, recorded webinars for online distribution and held workshops for artists who are interested in learning what I know about the “business of art.” Toastmasters has helped me to become comfortable in any environment and to take on leadership positions with success. I had no idea how far Toastmasters would take me and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to learn and grow with the encouragment of fellow professionals. For the Toastmaster year of 2019-2020, I was awarded Toastmaster of the Year after taking on many leadership roles at the district level.

About Me: I joined Toastmasters in 2019 seeking to improve my public speaking skills but ended up experiencing much more than I bargained for! I have been fortunate to serve my home club GVSU Downtown Toastmasters 2 times as club President, and VPE. I leaned into leadership by accepting the Area 17 Director role in 2022-23, and now S Division Director for 2023-24. I joined WMAT August 2022, to further my Toastmasters journey, by learning from some of our District’s long standing and accomplished members. During my brief tenure at WMAT, I have gained much TM knowledge and have made new friends. I look forward to the continued learning WMAT offers! Come join us!
